A man has been charged with traffic and firearms offences following a vehicle search at Raymond Terrace yesterday. About 9.50am (Monday 24 July 2023), officers from Traffic and Highway Police Area Command were patrolling the Raymond Terrace area, when they observed a vehicle travelling on Irrawang Street. The driver of the vehicle allegedly stopped in a driveway before running from the vehicle. A subsequent search allegedly revealed a firearm located within the vehicle. Following inquiries, a 37-year-old man was arrested at a home on Glenelg Street, Raymond Terrace, a short time later.
