Police can confirm that the person involved in the crash on the Hawke's Bay Expressway last night has died. The single-vehicle crash happened about 8:30pm when the vehicle hit a barrier. The road was closed for a time and the Serious Crash Unit attended. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
