Perth Police have charged a 20-year-old man in relation to an incident in Northbridge last night, Saturday 23 September 2023, which left a security guard injured. About 11:30pm, the security guard was working at a licenced venue on Lake Street when he attempted to escort out a patron who was refusing to leave the venue. It will be alleged the patron – a 20-year-old man – struck the security guard with a drinking glass. The security guard received a laceration injury to his head, which required medical treatment at Royal Perth Hospital.
