Clayton police are appealing for public assistance after a laptop was stolen in Clayton earlier this month. Officers believe the unknown man and woman entered a store on Princes Highway about 4.35pm on Wednesday, 5 July. The duo walked around the store looking at numerous laptops on display before the man is seen to remove what appears to be bolt cutters while the woman appears to be keeping a lookout. Police were told the man cut the security cable securing the laptop to the table, before placing it into an enviro carry bag.
