KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 — DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang, who is suing PAS newcomer Tan Sri Annuar Musa for defamation, today said he would not accept any apology from the latter should it be offered over the May 13, 1969 remarks. Only compensation will do, he added. 'I have instructed my lawyers not to accept Annuar Musa's apology and to insist on compensation for defaming me,' he said in a statement. Lim said Annuar's recent allegations that the 'DAP went against Islamic values' continues PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang's bid to sow 'lies, falsehood, fake news and hate speech' ahead of the state elections next month in Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu.
