KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has seen RM1.35 billion of equities outflow in June after foreign selling persist for the 10th consecutive month, said Maybank Investment Bank Bhd (Maybank IB). This has lifted foreign investors' net selling to RM4.19 billion so far this year, reversing the net buy of RM4.4 billion in 2022, Maybank IB noted. The firm said foreign holdings of the local stocks on Bursa Malaysia has fallen below 20 per cent to 19.9 per cent as at June 30, a new low since the global financial crisis.
