Central Goldfields Shire welcomed twelve new citizens with a Citizenship Ceremony on Thursday 27 July, in Maryborough. The twelve residents from Sweden, the United Kingdom, India, the Philippines and Vietnam will became Australian citizens at the ceremony. Central Goldfields Shire Mayor Cr Grace La Vella said it was an honour to officiate the Citizenship Ceremony. "Congratulations to those becoming Australian citizens, it's been a privilege to welcome our newest citizens to the Australian community.
