During the month of September, the initiative encourages Greater Shepparton residents to pledge to spending at least two hours a week connecting with and caring for the natural environment. Greater Shepparton City Council's RiverConnect Project Officer, Alison White, says she hopes local residents will be inspired to experience the benefits of some beloved local nature spots.
