KUALA LUMPUR (June 14): Malaysia corporate boardrooms are urged to widen their focus beyond revenue and profit in their journey of embracing sustainability, where benefits usually take a longer period to materialise, said experts at the MIA International Conference 2023. 'For us, we have to convince the board that there are things that we can't only focus on short-term; there are certain things in decision making that we have to look total context of the situation, which may require a focus on longer term result,' said AEON BiG (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed.
