Correctional Service Canada On July 11, 2023, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, contraband and unauthorized items were seized at Cowansville Institution, a federal medium security institution. The contraband and unauthorized items seized included methamphetamine, hashish and tobacco. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $105,528.
