Community and connection are the central pillars of the next New Residents Event, which is to held on Sunday 15 October at Viaduct Park. To build on the success of the networking-style evening in May, Tamworth Regional Council has made a conscious decision to hold the event in an open space – aiming to assist those attending to come together, share stories and have genuine conversations with each other. "After receiving feedback from those that attended the event in May, it was clear that there was a need to shift our focus onto giving new residents – particularly families – the chance to get to know each other in a more casual setting," said Councillor Webb.
