NEW YORK, Sept. 21 -- China hopes Cyprus will continue to play a positive role in promoting the sound and stable development of China-EU relations, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng said here Thursday. Han made the remarks when meeting with President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. Han conveyed Chinese President Xi Jinping's cordial greetings to Christodoulides. In recent years, China-Cyprus relations have made great progress, Han said.
