Caribbean Member States were updated on the latest developments at IMO, and Maritime Administrations, Regional and International stakeholders and education institutions were afforded the opportunity to exchange information, at a Regional Meeting of Directors and Heads of Maritime Administrations (DIHMAR 2), in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda (26-27 June 2023).  The meeting endorsed the Carib-SMART Project Document which outlines key gaps and needs identified during the project's Preparatory phase which began last year.
