The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of International Development, announced $5 million to help humanitarian partners deliver immediate life-saving assistance, including emergency health, water, sanitation, and hygiene, as well as shelter and non-food items, in northeastern affected by the flooding. This support will respond to the assessed needs identified in UN and Red Cross/Red Crescent appeals, including for the populations who have been displaced by the impact of the flooding.
