The all-new Ford Everest has been launched in Malaysia, with sole distributor Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) offering 3 variants of the 7-seater SUV. The variants start with the Everest Sport and moves up to Everest Trend and Everest Titanium. The Everest Sport has a 2.0L Single Turbo diesel engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission, producing 170 PS @ 3,500 rpm and 405 Nm @ 1,750 – 2,000 rpm. It offers 4 drive modes i.e. Normal, Eco, Tow / Haul and Slippery, and is the only 2-wheel-drive variant in the range.
