KUALA LUMPUR: The total number of flood victims in Johor, Pahang and Melaka is still high with 50,499 victims, even though it saw a decrease compared to 55,000 seeking shelter at the temporary evacuation (PPS) centres last night. According to information from the Disaster Social Welfare Department (JKM) portal, as of 8am today, 311 PPS are still open to provide shelter to affected victims. Johor recorded the most number of flood victims at 46,916 victims that include 13,511 families residing in 284 PPS.
