Ballarat Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for information after a boat and trailer were stolen during a burglary in Wendouree last month. Police have been told the offender or offenders have smashed the rear lock of a work shed and gained entry to the premises on Creswick Road between 4pm on Wednesday 28 June and 7am on Thursday 29 June. The victim's blue and white boat, which had more than $20,000 worth of fishing gear on board, was stolen from inside the shed along with numerous power tools.
