MANILA -The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) warned that Filipinos who have not yet registered their SIM (subscriber identify module ) cards may gradually lose access to certain telco services in the coming months. The DICT warning came following the announcement on Tuesday of a 90-day extension in SIM card registration. Information and Communications Secretary Ivan John Uy, in a virtual briefing on Tuesday, said this would show how 'serious' the agency is in ensuring compliance with the SIM card registration rule.
