MANILA, Philippines — A traffic enforcer was shot multiple times after apprehending a motorcycle rider in Tanza, Cavite, the police said on Monday. In a statement, Imus City Police Station identified the victim as William Mentes Quiambao, a traffic enforcer in Tanza and a resident of St. John Subdivision, Barangay Biga. On May 28 afternoon, the police said Quiambao apprehended suspect Joseph Llagas along Barangay Daang Amaya 2, resulting in a heated argument. Llagas, who was reportedly drunk, shot the victim three times in the back of his head.
