What's new: The top trade officials from China and the U.S. will meet on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) ministerial meetings taking place Thursday and Friday in the U.S., the Chinese commerce ministry confirmed. During the two-day meeting in Detroit, Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao will talk to his U.S. counterpart Gina Raimondo and U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai, commerce ministry spokesperson Shu Jueting said at a press briefing Thursday.
