Taipei, Sept. 25 (CNA) Taiwan shares ended more than 100 points higher on Monday as the bellwether electronics sector continued its comeback with buyers taking advantage of bargain-hunting opportunities after tech stocks in the U.S. market showed signs of stabilizing at the end of last week. However, turnover was limited as many investors appeared to stay cautious ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival long weekend. The Taiex, the weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE), ended at 16,452.23 -- 107.
