With a month remaining in the regular season, South Arkansas Community College has already moved past their win totals from last year both overall and in conference play. The Stars won 24 games overall and 13 in conference play in their debut season. Presently, the Stars have a winning streak that matches their conference win total from a year ago. Thanks to that, SouthArk recorded another first for the program. The Stars moved into the NJCAA Division II poll this week, checking in at No. 20. 'It's good for their confidence, it's good for recruiting, it's good for our team, our town, our college,' SouthArk coach Cannon Lester said of being ranked for the first time.
