The injured duck was rescued from the Mildura Marina but later died. THE Conservation Regulator is seeking information from the public after a native wood duck was found at the Mildura Marina with an arrow through its body last Saturday. Wildlife rescuers reported the incident to the Conservation Regulator after a member of the public alerted them to the injured bird. The duck was taken to a veterinarian for assessment and while X-rays showed no vital organs had been hit, during the operation to remove the arrow the duck haemorrhaged and died.
