MANILA, Philippines—NLEX will have more height when PBA Season 48 begins in a few months after acquiring the services of Ben Adamos via trade. The PBA approved the trade proposed by the Road Warriors and the Fuel Masters on Tuesday, with Phoenix giving up Adamos for Reden Celda and Tzaddy Rangel. Adamos has not suited up for Phoenix during the ongoing PBA On Tour preseason and had a forgettable last conference under coach Jamike Jarin. The 6-foot-7 cager averaged only 1.4 points in eight games for Phoenix.
