Satellite images of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) showed groups of clouds caused by the southwest monsoon in the southern parts of the country. 'Makikita niyo itong kaulapan na ito maaaring magdala ng maulap na kalangitan na mas malaking tsansa ng pag-ulan, kasama na ang pagkidlat at pagkulog, partikular na dito sa may bahagi ng southern Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao,' Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said.
