Having caused a large number of deaths in the past decade, dengue fever remains a dynamic disease that can have severe clinical manifestations. Patients presenting with the viral disease often require supportive and symptomatic management.Dengue fever is a serious health problem that continues to be a concern worldwide, more so in developing countries with already overburnt and ill-managed healthcare systems.
