MANILA, Philippines–The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Saturday that the Pio Felipe Intersection in Taguig will be temporarily closed starting 12 a.m. on Monday. The closure, from M.L. Quezon Avenue to Laguna Lake Highway/C6 Road, is due to an ongoing project of the Department of Public Works and Highways to construct a pedestrian overpass at the intersection. Motorists are advised to take the following alternative routes to avoid inconvenience: From M.L. Quezon Avenue (Barangay San Miguel) to Laguna Lake Highway/C6 Road, use the route via Bay Breeze.
