LONDON, April 28 (Bernama-Anadolu) -- Microsoft President Brad Smith has criticised the UK's decision to block its purchase of US gaming company Activision, saying the European Union would be a more favourable location to start a business. The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on Wednesday blocked Microsoft's planned acquisition of Activision Blizzard for £55 billion (nearly US$69 billion) due to concerns that it could result in reduced innovation and less choice for gamers in the rapidly growing cloud gaming industry.
