MANILA, Philippines — Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) 'continues to be united and supportive' of the leadership of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and party president, Speaker Ferdinand Romualdez, a ranking party official said Friday. Senator Ramon 'Bong' Revilla Jr., who serves as co-chairman of the political party, gave this assurance after former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, lost her post as senior deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives. Arroyo, chair emeritus of Lakas-CMD, is now one of the eight deputy Speakers in the lower chamber.
