MANILA, Philippines—Justin Gutang and Changwon LG Sakers frustrated Korean Basketball League top seed Anyang KGC, 76-75, at Anyang Gymnasium on Thursday. Gutang, making most of his minutes off the bench, finished with nine points, a rebound and two steals to help the Sakers beat fellow import Rhenz Abandon and KGC in the battle of the top two teams. Assem Marei was the high-point man for the LG Sakers with a double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds to power the squad to a 33-16, just half a game behind the league leaders.
