IN what seems to be a blitzkrieg of Chinese automotive brands over the past few months, another one is set to arrive in the Philippines in the form of Jaecoo — a sister brand of Omoda — which is also part of Chery International. Jaecoo focuses on more traditional SUVs as opposed to Omoda whose vehicles blend multiple attributes from different segments. Their first model is the Jaecoo 7 and once it arrives in the Philippines, it will share showroom space with the Omoda 5. The Jaecoo 7 is a good-looking SUV.
