CNA file photo Taipei, Sept. 13 (CNA) Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. said it is "looking forward" to working with partners in India, following reports that it had reached an agreement with Mumbai-based multinational Vedanta Limited to produce semiconductors in Gujarat.According to a Reuters report Tuesday, Vedanta and Hon Hai have signed a pact to invest US$19.5 billion to set up a semiconductor project in Gujarat, the home state of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.In a statement later that day, Hon Hai, known internationally as Foxconn, said it applauded the efforts by Gujarat's government "to attract semiconductor development and upgrade government efficiency.
