LEWISVILLE—Roger Hashem Jr., 81, of Lewisville, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, surrounded by his family. Ser v ic e s will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, at Doubletree Ranch Park in Highland Village. Mr. Hashem was born in Houston on Nov. 13, 1941. He married Marie Leach on April 9, 1964. Mr. Hashem graduated from Smiley High School in Houston and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Texas Baptist College and a Master of Education from Prairie View A&M. He was a teacher, girls track coach and high school principal at Milano High School in Milano for many years.
