Despite releasing at the tail end of 2022, the game managed to become one of the top five best-selling games in the United States, according to NPD. This is a pretty impressive feat achieved in just two months by a console exclusive. God of War Ragnarok sales previously broke PlayStation records Sony previously revealed that God of War Ragnarok not only sold 5.1 million copies within its launch week, it is also the fastest-selling first-party launch in PlayStation's history!
