The Blue Jackets have just three games left before the Christmas break, and only one of those -- tonight's contest vs. Dallas -- will be in the friendly confines of Nationwide Arena. It's the only home contest of a six-game pre-holiday stretch that started with a winless road trip last week against Eastern Conference contenders Florida, Tampa Bay and Boston. The Blue Jackets hung with three of the top teams in the conference on this past road trip, and while the final combined score was 12-3 in favor of the home teams, Columbus felt it played pretty good hockey for stretches.
