MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and the Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC) have signed an agreement to strengthen human rights education in the Bangsamoro region, a deal that its officials called a 'historical moment' to address the region's rights situation. CHR chair Richard Palpal-latoc led the signing of the memorandum of agreement (MOA), which affirms the two agencies' 'mutual cooperation and support in matters relating to the Filipinos' human rights situation.
