The China market for smart cockpits in vehicles is expected to grow 17% annually over the next five years as automakers push the transition to intelligent vehicles, accounting and consulting firm KPMG estimated in a report. That will almost double demand to 212.7 billion yuan ($30.7 billion) from last year's 112.7 billion yuan, according to the KPMG report released Thursday.
