INQUIRER FILE PHOTO LUCENA CITY – A truck helper was killed and nine other people were injured on Sunday night after their cargo truck fell into a canal along the new zigzag road in Pagbilao town in Quezon province. In a report Monday, the Quezon police said truck driver Dennis Ricafort was negotiating a descending sharp curve in the zigzag road in Barangay Silangang Malicboy around 11:30 p.m., when the vehicle's brakes malfunctioned. The wayward truck loaded with carabaos and came from Bicol fell into a small canal and tilted on its side.
