PH rower Joanie Delgaco at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. –JUNE NAVARRO/INQUIRER HANGZHOU, China— Rower Joanie Delgaco did not make the cut for a medal finish in the finals of the women's single sculls in the the 19th Asian Games early Monday at the Fuyang Water Center. Delgaco, the 2019 Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, was fifth among six medal hopefuls of the 2,000 meter race. She finished with a time of eight minutes and 5.93 seconds.
