On the evening of December 13, 2022 at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, the Michelin Star Revelation 2023 event saw a total of 97 Malaysian eateries from Kuala Lumpur and Penang receive recognition from the highly-vaunted Michelin Guide, with four eateries receiving a Michelin Star in the process. This marks the first time that the award has arrived in Malaysia, after years of Michelin Star officials going on undercover visits and finally coming up with a list of the best places to eat at based on a list of strict criteria, which you can read about here.
