LUCENA CITY — Police arrested two alleged members of a drug group and seized more than P172,000 worth of 'shabu' (crystal meth) in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province on Friday, May 26. Cavite police chief Col. Christopher Olazo said in a report released Saturday that anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Raymond Gurriba, 35, and Jamal Mangondato, 28, after they sold a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay (village) Datu Esmael around 6:30 p.m. Authorities confiscated 25 grams of shabu with a street value of P172,500 from the arrested suspects, both classified as 'high-value' targets in the government's war against illegal drugs.
