MANILA, Philippines — Fourteen people have reportedly died while more than 21,000 individuals were displaced due to the combined effects of tropical cyclone Egay (international name: Doksuri) and the enhanced southwest monsoon. In its bulletin issued at 8 a.m. on Saturday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said 14 people died, 13 were injured, and 20 are still missing due to the weather disturbances. Of these 14 deaths, six were already confirmed while the remaining eight are still for validation.
