Farm Country Brewing provides a community hub in the City of Langley
Farm Country Brewing is a craft brewery in Langley that is one of the restaurants participating in Dine the Line. (Kyler Emerson) When Arnold Tobler and his business partner Travis Keyworth first started Farm Country Brewing in 2019, it was to fill what they saw as a need in the community. '[We] have been big craft beer fans for years,' Tobler says. 'And we figured, at the time, Langley was very underserved as far as craft beer went.' From there, Tobler says it was a matter of putting a business plan together and getting a brewery up and running.

Why celebrity businesses are often a failure
Art by @RESLUS Starting a business is always a risk, but how big that risk is depends on how much you have to lose. Celebrities, unless they are in truly dire straits, usually do not have everything on the line when they open a bar, restaurant, or clothing line.  Yet there is a peculiarity often associated with any public personality who turns entrepreneurial — their tendency to flop . Not all celebrity-driven businesses fail, mind you. There are plenty of successful examples like Dan Akroyd and his Crystal Head vodka, Sean 'P Diddy' Combs has a finger in many financial pies, there's Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP, and multiple famous figures have well-known cosmetics brands.

Last minute, budget friendly activities to do before summer ends
As fall approaches and the last weeks of summer are within sight, check out these student and budget friendly activities to make the most out of the rest of the season. (Unsplash/Vlad D) As the fall semester comes to a start and the summer season slowly slips away, it can be difficult to stay in the present and enjoy the rest of the warm weather. Students begin to panic about their upcoming course work and the limited free time they have left, wasting time worrying instead of making the most out of it.

Animated characters tell mental health journeys
🔊 Listen to Post Some of my fondest childhood memories involve watching animated cartoons and movies with my brother. It was the first time my imagination came to life, giving me a sense of creativity. I found it intriguing and many questions began revolving in my tiny seven-year-old brain like how they managed to create cartoon characters, if they could possibly come to life, and if they were real. I thought watching animation was seeing my comic and fairytale books coming to life in a movie or a T.
