5 things every Brazilian waxer wishes you would stop doing.
beauty Have you ever imagined what it's like being thisclose to vaginas  all day – no, not like that sadly – you know, for work? The life of a Brazilian waxer is never dull; in fact, sometimes it's downright disgusting. Let's just say I've had more than a few projectiles fly at my face during my 9-to-5. (And yes, I've been propositioned for sex while tweezing.) You'd be surprised at what goes on behind the closed doors of an aesthetician's room. Want to help alleviate my (sometimes) torture? Here are five tips that every waxer hopes you'll heed before heading into the salon: 1.

The secret code word flight attendants use when a passenger dies.
travel In fact, staff are so conscious of not wanting to upset those on-board, that some airlines reportedly use a code word when referring to deceased passenger. For obvious reasons, the phrase is kept pretty tightly under wraps, but according to The Mirror , Sara Marsden, Editor in Chief for US Funerals Online, revealed that American Airlines staff use a name: 'Jim Wilson'. For anyone experiencing grief... (Post continues below). We reached out to Virgin Australia to see if they have an equivalent term, but they were unable to comment on internal procedures.

'I had a breast reconstruction 5 days ago. Being asked about my 'new boobs' is painful.'
health Last February, I went for a routine mammogram that changed my world – and then my body beyond all recognition. What followed was a whirlwind of 12 biopsies, a breast cancer diagnosis , consultations, surgeons and an overwhelming mountain of information. I was diagnosed with Stage 2B breast cancer, which had already spread to my lymph nodes. A six-month course of chemotherapy — 16 cycles — was to begin as soon as Gold Coast Hospital (which is amazing) could book me in. I shaved my head before I started chemo because, in the intense dust-storm that my diagnosis kicked up, it felt like one way I could take back a tiny little speck of control.

Yes, there's a right way (and a wrong way) to break up with your hairdresser.
beauty Ask anyone who has switched hairstylists before and they'll agree that breaking up with your hairdresser is legitimately the HARDEST thing to do, ever. It is! It really is.  It's awkward. Uncomfy. Feels like you're cheating.  Because the fact is, when you've built a solid relationship and loyalty to someone over a long period of time, it can be super  difficult to know how to tell them when things aren't really... working. So, what are the ground rules, here? What should you do when you want to break up with your hairstylist? And what should you absolutely not  do? Watch: Hairdresser talk, translated.
