KLANG: Former Klang member of Parliament Charles Santiago said Pas' actions of late have been creating fear among non-Malays. The season DAP politician quoted the recent incident in the east coast state of Kelantan in late June where a Chinese woman was issued a compound by the Kota Baru Municipal Council (MPKB) for wearing shorts in public. "If Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (Pas) has not created fear amongst non-Malays, it wouldn't need to come up with such statements in the first place. How do you explain compounding a Chinese woman for wearing shorts in public?" Santiago questioned.
