Samsung Biologics has signed a W511.1 billion drug-manufacturing deal with pharma giant Novartis, bringing this year's cumulative deals to W2.34 trillion, it said Monday (US$1=W1,307).This is the first time the biotech company has bagged more than W2 trillion worth of deals in a year."This year's cumulative deals have broken the previous record of W1.9 trillion in 2020," it said. "We expect the figure to increase further in the second half."The company has been racking up long-term contracts with major global pharma firms.
