KUANTAN: Pahang police are ready to mobilise their manpower and assets to the ground in anticipation of the Pelangai state seat by-election in Bentong. Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman said the force was waiting for the Election Commission (EC) to set the important dates for nomination, early-voting and polling day. "The Pahang police contingent will be ready to be mobilised to the constituency for the by-election. Our preparation includes deploying police personnel to maintain public order and peace, and mobilising assets," he told reporters here today.
