Mildura Rural City Council has conferred 46 new Australian citizens across two ceremonies this year. The Mildura Rural City Council has officially welcomed new Australian citizens from 12 countries in a ceremony at the Alfred Deakin Centre. Council conferred citizenship on 46 people across two ceremonies this year with residents from the Philippines, Thailand, France, the Russian Federation, Myanmar, the United Kingdom, India, Iran, Colombia, Uganda, Afghanistan and Nigeria welcomed last week.
