'As we recall the acts of valor of our heroes of the past and present, let this be a way to inspire and encourage everyone, especially the youth,' Duterte said during his speech at the Araw ng Kagitingan program at the Freedom Park on April 10, 2023. 'To become good agents of change and contribute to our ongoing pursuit of sustainable, and lasting peace, for our city and our nation,' he added.
