//KHARAS regional police commander of the police David Indongo has been transferred to Khomas region and will start his new assignment in Windhoek on 1 September. Indongo replaces Khomas commissioner Ismael Basson, who has been deployed to Omusati region. The deployment was part of new appointments, transfers and promotions announced by Namibian Police inspector general Sebastian Ndeitunga on Wednesday. Indongo said he has accepted the deployment and is ready to head crime prevention in Khomas and called for assistance from that community.
